In this week of Thanksgiving, the AccrualNet team would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you out there who do what you do, and do it so passionately. We hear from you on a regular basis about the accrual challenges you face day in and day out, and we continue to admire your resolve to help cancer patients in their journey — an essential part being clinical trials as a treatment option.
We want to thank all of you who have given us your stories from the field, your materials and resources now housed in AccrualNet, and your willingness to help us to spread the word about this tool. The AN community has grown immensely over the past couple of years, and we appreciate everyone’s guidance and support to help make this tool what it is today.
Finally, we cannot let Thanksgiving go by without acknowledging the thousands of clinical trial participants across the globe who give of themselves to further cancer research, even when there may be no direct personal benefit. No matter how difficult their situation, despite all the barriers that might prevent them from joining—fear, beliefs, logistics, cost, and others—they take the leap of faith for their future and make the hard decision to help others fighting the same fight. We are grateful to those who hold their trust in research and hope to advance cancer treatments for all. That’s what Thanksgiving is all about.
The AccrualNet team would like to wish all of you a wonderful holiday.
